Dr. Alexander Leferman teaches ARTSSCI 1BB3 / Argumentation.  He is an Assistant Professor (CLA) in the Department of Philosophy.  His primary areas of research are theoretical ethics, social and political philosophy, and action theory.  He received his Ph.D. from York University in 2021, where he wrote a dissertation on joint action.  He is currently conducting research on the concept of solidarity in political philosophy and, in particular, solidary action.
