Artsci Student and Artsci Grad Named Women of Distinction by YWCA
A current Artsci student and an Artsci alum were recently honoured at the YWCA Hamilton Women of Distinction Awards gala. Held on Thursday 9 March 2017 at the Hamilton Convention Centre, the event celebrated the achievements of women who are making outstanding contributions to the Hamilton community. Level IV student Shruti Ramesh was honoured with the Young Woman of Distinction award for her work in gender equality and health initiatives. REfficient Inc. was named Outstanding Workplace for its flexible and innovative work environment. The company was created by Arts & Science graduate Stephanie McLarty, who also serves as its CEO.
