Arts & Science Grad Appointed Federal Deputy Minister
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently announced Dylan Jones as the new Deputy Minister of Western Economic Diversification. Dylan graduated from the Arts & Science Program in 1992, before receiving law degrees from the University of British Columbia and the University of Oxford. He held several positions within the provincial government of Saskatchewan prior to being recruited to this top job within the federal government. Most recently, Dylan served as President and CEO of Canada West Foundation, which provides research and advice to policy makers in Western Canada.
