Artsci Student Scholars Continue to Impress at Conferences

In June, Arts & Science students Rachel Brain and Kaila Radan, along with Dr. Beth Marquis and five other colleagues (S. Preston, M. Busser, N. Marquis, B. Levinson, and M. Ross), presented “Tuning into the Practice of First Year Foundations Courses” at the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Conference in Vancouver, BC.
At the same conference, Arts & Science student Devra Charney spoke about “New Interdisciplinary Science Course for First-Year Faculty of Science Students: Overview and Results from the Pilot” with Dr. Rob Cockcroft and six other colleagues (S.L. Symons, L. Goff, K. Knorr, S.J. Robinson, G. van Wersch, M.J. Farquharson).
