Common Reading Program Dialogue with Lawrence Hill

On Thursday 8 September, Level I Artsci students participated in a special Common Reading Program Q&A with author Lawrence Hill. The Common Reading Program, which began as an Arts & Science initiative, is now a university-wide project that each year offers a common reading experience across campus. This year’s selection, The Illegal, was a huge hit among Level I Artsci students. They brought a great many questions and observations about the novel to the interactive session held in the Arts & Science library, and engaged in lively dialogue with Lawrence Hill, its generous and inspiring author.
