Dr. Alexander Leferman teaches ARTSSCI 1BB3 / Argumentation.  He is an Assistant Professor (CLA) in the Department of Philosophy.  His primary areas of research are theoretical ethics, social and political philosophy, and action theory.  He has published on the nature of acting together, practical reasoning, and rational action.  He is currently developing a book project on solidarity and its connection to equality.  He received his Ph.D. from York University in 2021.
