Arts & Science Program

The Common Reading Program

The Common Reading Program is a signature Arts & Science Program initiative for Level I students. Each summer, incoming Level I Artscis receive a copy of the selected book by mail and are encouraged to read it before the start of the Fall term, in preparation for a special visit with that book’s author in early September. This program provides an early opportunity for students to become immersed in the Arts & Science community of learning, and to participate in a discussion with an established author and their Arts & Science peers.
