Special Artsci Event with Chantal Kreviazuk

On Friday 3 December, the Arts & Science Program was honoured to host Canadian singer, songwriter, composer, pianist, and actress Chantal Kreviazuk for an intimate “Talk & Sing” event in the McMaster Concert Hall. Ms. Kreviazuk shared personal stories with Artsci students before taking requests from the appreciative crowd and playing a few of her award-winning songs.
Ms. Kreviazuk is a Juno and Grammy award winning artist who has produced, co-written, and composed songs for a wide variety of artists including Drake, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Josh Groban, and Kendrick Lamar. A recipient of the Order of Canada, she is a long-time activist internationally known for her humanitarian work as well as for her music and song writing. Ms. Kreviazuk is Honorary Founder of War Child Canada, an organization founded by Artsci alum Dr. Samantha Nutt (Class of 1991), and a member of the Future of Canada Project Council at McMaster, a group ofdiverse and forward-thinking Canadian leaders.
