Artsci Students Explore Kentucky Caves in Experiential Learning Course

Dr. John Maclachlan and a group of Artsci and iSci students just returned from Kentucky after participating in ARTSSCI 3IE1 / Kentucky Caving Fieldtrip. From 15-18 October 2015, the participants travelled to Cave City, Kentucky to explore several cave systems, discuss the rich local caving history, and investigate environmental impacts on these natural features.
The Kentucky Caving Field trip is one of six ARTSSCI 3IE1 modules being offered this year designed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom setting.
