Congratulations to Artsci’s Class of 2016!

On Tuesday 14 June, the Class of 2016 graduated from the Arts & Science Program at the McMaster Spring Convocation. Degrees were conferred upon fifty-five Artsci students at the joint Arts & Science and Humanities ceremony, held at 2:30pm in the Great Hall of Hamilton Place.
Powerful Convocation addresses were offered by honorary degree recipients Dr. Barry Lord and Dr. Gail Lord, President Patrick Deane, and Arts & Science student Suzy Flader, who inspired us all with her Valedictory speech. Graduates, along with their family and friends, then walked the short distance to the David Braley Health Science Centre Auditorium, 100 Main St. W., where they were welcomed by Artsci faculty and staff at a celebratory reception, clearly enjoyed by all.
Class of 2016, welcome to the Arts & Science alumni community. See you at the Artsci 35th Anniversary Celebration!
The full Convocation address given by President Patrick Deane can be found here. The Valedictory address given by Suzy Flader can be found here.
